What is Ring Mint?

Ring Mint is a custom engagement ring business at ringmint.com, and it is our own. Its site launched at the end of May 2026. Its site was built with Louis's method, which made it Louis's first real test.

What was built?

The site was built around the questions ring buyers actually ask, not around a list of products. The research surfaced a live question: people watching TikTok diamond auctions wanted to know if the stones were real. The site answers it directly on a dedicated page, alongside pages on custom engagement rings, timelines, and deposits and returns.

Google started showing the site in August, and impressions reached about 180 a day in September. Search Console data for ringmint.com begins on August 5, 2026. On September 28, 2026, a check of Google's US results for "tiktok diamonds real" showed Ring Mint's article third, below The Guardian and a Reddit thread and above Rolling Stone and Mashable. Rankings move by place and by day; this is one dated check.

Where did the leads come from?

The site received 22 inquiries between August 8 and September 26, 2026: 8 in August and 14 in September. We counted them one by one in the inbox, leaving out spam, tests, and repeat submissions. The owner reports about 14 more in July, before that inbox existed. Google Analytics recorded 31 key events between May 25 and September 27, and 15 of them came from the AI assistant channel, where ChatGPT was the main referrer in the week we checked. AI assistants were the single largest source of tracked conversions, ahead of direct traffic.

What we do not know yet

We do not know which channel each inquiry or sale came from. The inquiry form does not ask how people found Ring Mint, and sales are not tracked in Google Analytics. That is the next fix: a "how did you find us" field on the form, so the next update of this page can split leads by Google, ChatGPT, and social.

What this means for you

One business is not a forecast. What Ring Mint shows is the order of magnitude: a new site answering real questions can be found by Google and by AI assistants within a few months, and the same page can win both. If that is the kind of search presence you want, see how Louis is priced.
